Background

Runbox AS is a profitable and growing private Norwegian company founded in October 1999 and residing in Oslo, Norway. Runbox provides the email service Runbox Mail Manager (RMM), which was launched globally in 2000, and since developed to become one of the world's leading premium email services. Since the beginning Runbox has delivered more than 800 000 mailboxes. Runbox provides email hosting, web and domain hosting, and delivers custom made email solutions. Runbox has developed customized services for several major portals and companies such as the Norwegian Broadcasting Company and TV 2.

Runbox is colocated and partnered with Linpro AS, a major shareholder in Runbox. Linpro AS is a private profitable company and Norway's leading Linux systems administration company founded in 1995, with more than 90 system administrators and developers.

Runbox servers run on EMC and Dell hardware and are hosted with our partner ISP Ventelo. Ventelo offers world class access with fully redundant systems world wide and is among Norway's leading provider of hosting services.

Runbox is a Norwegian limited company, regulated by strong Norwegian consumer and privacy rights. Runbox is a Verified Vendor with PayPal, an Internet-based payment system trusted by millions of users worldwide. Runbox AS is profitable and has approximately 100 shareholders.

Runbox Mail Manager is extensively featured in the independent email directory EmailAddresses.com, where the service has a dedicated user forum. This message board is monitored by the Runbox Staff.
